About this policy

Mezcal Tour Oaxaca publishes information about mezcal experiences and travel. This policy explains data use on this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@mezcal-tour-oaxaca.com. If you email us, your address and the information you include are used to handle your message. Avoid sending payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.

Website delivery and access logs

The site uses Hetzner for hosting and Cloudflare for content delivery and security. Visiting the site involves processing technical information, including IP addresses, request information, timestamps, referring addresses and browser information. These records support delivery, security, troubleshooting, traffic analysis and identification of automated visits. IP addresses and other technical records can be personal data. Server logs can include a full request address or referrer, including information in URL parameters.

Some operational logs rotate, while other access logs and stored traffic records can remain until manually removed. There is no single fixed deletion period covering all these records. See the Hetzner privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy for information about their processing.

Optional analytics

This website offers optional Google Analytics to understand which pages and experience links visitors use. It does not load before you accept. Browsing does not constitute consent.

Google Analytics starts only with your explicit acceptance or a previously saved acceptance. You can reject it and continue using the site. The site’s analytics events describe page paths, language, page type, referring site or previous internal page, and clicks from guides to experience comparisons or on activity links. Link events include the destination or offer reference and the link’s position on the page. These are browsing and click signals, not proof of a booking.

The event fields prepared by this site omit URL queries and fragments, external referrer paths, names, email addresses and booking details. This does not make all processing anonymous: Google can receive technical device and connection information. The browser configuration requests no advertising personalization or Google Signals. Read the Google Privacy Policy for Google’s processing. The analytics cookie lifetime is configured as 180 days; this is separate from how long Google retains event data.

Preferences and withdrawal

“Privacy settings” at the bottom of the page lets you accept, reject or withdraw acceptance. The preference uses browser local storage until changed or cleared. A tab-level session preference also helps remember refusal. These records support your choice, rather than measure visits.

Withdrawal stops the site from generating analytics events and clears its first-party Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase information already processed by Google. If browser storage fails, a notice explains that the choice could not be saved. Your choice still applies in the current tab, including navigation within the site, but may not be remembered after a reload or a later visit. You can also manage cookies and site storage through your browser; clearing preferences may lead to another consent prompt on your next visit.
