Mezcal Tour Oaxaca is an English-language travel publication about one thing: choosing a mezcal experience in Oaxaca. It covers the three formats visitors book, a tasting in the city, a day at the palenques, and a sightseeing day with a distillery stop, plus guides on the drink itself, the villages, the season and safety.
Who writes it
Two authors share the site: Diego Garcia writes the tour reviews and the mezcal guides (production, agaves, bottles, bars), and Sofia Mendez writes the travel guides (planning, safety, the route through the villages and the July fair).
What we compare
Every tour page puts the same facts side by side: price, duration, rating and number of reviews, group size, languages, meeting point, what is included and what is paid at the gate. The figures come from the tours’ GetYourGuide listings and are refreshed on a schedule, so a price on this site is the listing’s price at the last refresh.
